Friends of the man who went on a shooting rampage at the Nebraska mall say he battled depression. Meanwhile, Omaha police say Robert Hopkins may have smuggled an assault rifle. They say he has stolen it from his stepfather into the Westgroup Mall under his sweatshirt. Police say he killed 6 department store employees and 3 customers before turning the gun on himself.
　
Hundreds of thousands of homeowners could see the interest rates on sub-prime mortgages frozen. President Bush made the announcement saying he could help some responsible homeowners avoid for closure.
