　　You know the saying "if you have to ask how much it costs, you cannot afford it", well, there is no harm in looking. Check up this 84.37 carat brilliant cut-white diamond. It's a D-color or finest white. It also has flawless clarity and its cut, polish and symmetry have all been graded excellent. The jewel touted for its unprecedented size and beauty went up on the auction block at Sotheby's. Some 300 collectors, gem manufactures and those just curious packed the historic Geneva hotel for the sale. But the winning bid Wednesday was actually made over the phone. The jewel was sold to the founder of Guess clothing company for 16.2 million dollars. It's the second most expensive stone or piece of jewelry ever sold on an auction. The record stands at 16.5million for a 100-carat diamond back in 1995.
