Every Dog Has His Say
Kimiko Fukuda always wondered what her dog was trying to say. Whenever she put on makeup, it would pull at her sleeve. ________________ (46) When the dog barks, she glances at a small electronic gadget. Hitchhiking
When I was in my teens and 20s, hitchhiking was a main form of long-distance transport. The kindness or curiosity of strangers __51__ me all over Europe, North America, Asia and southern Africa. Some of the lift-givers became friends, many provided hospitality __52__ the road.
