Miami-Dade police are investigating the shooting as a possible armed robbery. Police have now tentatively identified Baby Grace as two-year old Riley Ann Sawyers, her mother and her stepfather are in police custody. The cause of her death has not been determined. Investigators are still waiting for the DNA test results. Trent Lott is stepping down as the No: 2 Republican in the Senate and is leaving Congress at the end of this year. Mississippi’s Republican governor will pick a temporary replacement for Lott. The senator seat is expected to remain in the Republican hands. Some are calling it as an “inconvenient reunion” of the White House. President Bush congratulated this year’s American Nobel Prize winners. Among them, former Vice President Al Gore, he and the UN’s Inter-governmental Panel of Climate Change shared the Nobel Peace Prize. |
